Taughannock Falls & Watkins Glen State Park
Today we took a drive to the Finger Lakes and went to see some Water Falls. We might go back this Fall with some friends and do the wine trail and camp at the Glen.
Chittenango Falls 4-20-2008
Well we took a nice drive for the day to chittenango falls. We figure this summer we will just do some day trips here and there.

Gene Mills Eastern National's Pee Wee Tourney 04-05-2008
Well Ethen has had a great Pee Wee Wrestling season this year. For this being his first year he did awesome at the tournament's. At the Gene Mills he was in the 55lb class being the next class was 50lb and he weighs 52.5 So going into this we knew he could be wrestling kids 2years older then him, with allot more experience. But the day started off great. Ethen had the first match of the day on mat 2 and he set the standards. He went out there and wrestled a kid from PA and beat him by default in the 3rd period 17-0. But 3 hrs. later Ethen had a tough match against a kid from Canastota, we could tell the kid had more experience and was 7yrs old. But Ethen went out there and muscled he way around with the kid tiring him out but not in time he lost that match 9-5 but he never gave up. Then he wrestled another kid and got pinned in the 2nd period. I think this was a great learning experience for him but I wish they had the ages separated a little more. But for now his season is over and we would like to think everyone that helped Ethen out this year at Pee Wee Wrestling.

Islander's Game
We made a trip down to Long Island for a NY Islander's Game on 02/16/2008. Andy and Andrea Hilbert we nice enough to set us up with some tickets to the game. We then were able to go down to the VIP Lounge and see all the players after the game where we met up with Andy after the game, he gave Ethen his hockey stick from the game and signed it, along with Ethen's Hat and Jersey. We are truly grateful for the hospitality they showed us. They did win the game 4-1, it was a great time!
